beauty from ashes

one of the children i have had a chance to take care of in the past, a toddler that died a couple of months ago, is going on to inspire miracles. because of him, his parents held a bone marrow drive in his honor after he died. out of that bone marrow drive, a woman was contacted to be the donor for someone with leukemia. she is getting the chance to literally save someone's life. i am so blessed to take care of these precious children every day, and it never ceases to amaze me when i hear of miracles like this one. God really does bring beauty from the ashes.

if you haven't already, please consider getting on the bone marrow registry. you could be chance for a little boy or girl to grow up to live a long life, for a young man or woman not to leave their family without a father or a mother. all it takes is a swab of your cheek. it's easy. what better gift could you possibly imagine giving? go to www.marrow.org to find out how.
